Teach me Polish - the best way to learn Polish!
Cami (Romania) - group course
This is absolutely the best language school I have ever attended.
The professors are great professionals, open-minded and super fun. Their methods, capabilities to give you explanations and make you understand how this language works is incredible. The best thing is that they speak only Polish during the classes, which encourages students to actually focus and truly understand the language.
As a student you are encouraged to speak Polish (even if you make mistakes, the professor will explain you how to say correctly what you want - this is actually the best way to learn) and get to learn the language in a fun way through exercises and games. Plus you will meet a lot of wonderful people from all over the world that you have one important thing in common with: you will all want to learn Polish.
I am amazed how fast my progress is and how much this school brought out the child in me - I loved every single miming game, word-domino, riddle and essay I had to write so far.
I could not recommend this school enough!

I have only good things to say about this school. These classes are dynamic, well-organized, and fun. My Polish has improved dramatically, and I've met some very cool people as well.

As an expat, who is living quiet a wile in Poland, I had a few attempts to learn Polish, but unfortunately learning languages is not really my passion so I did not really succeed. But then I entered Dorota's class and everything changed. Learning with her is fun, the small groups make it possible to gain my skills quickly and now I even enjoy learning a new language. On the first test I realized how good Dorota knows how to feed my brain: I ended up with 80% in total, which was much more then I thought it would be possible. Now I am looking forward to the next lessons after our summerbreak. I am recommending Dorota to all foreigners who are coming to Poznan, no matter if they only want to learn some basics or speaking fluently Polish. If someone will be able to teach you this, it will be Dorota!

Magdalena was my Polish teacher for two months during my stay in Poznan. I took private lessons with her and we met at my place about twice a week for one and a half hours.
Magdalena was always in time and very well prepared for our lesson. She spoke Polish with me from the very beginning in a way so it was easy for me as a beginner to follow her. She used the same words and sentences over and over again so I was able to memorize them very easily. She used different methods to teach me the language what made it interesting. I was taught grammar, spelling, pronunciation and vocabulary. Magdalena was very helpful with everything. I appreciated a lot that she took time to practice talking in Polish with me, even though it took me very long to build sentences. She is a very motivated and encouraging teacher, who seems to enjoy what she is doing. I found her way of teaching Polish very effective. She was going by book but always brought some other materials to practice new topics. She integrated the previous learned lections into new ones so I did not forget about it.
Keep up the good work!

As an New Yorker, living in Poland for three months of my Summer, it was much needed that I find a place to practice and sharpen my Polish skills. "Teach me Polish" was just the place. Some of my fondest days from my summer spent in Poznań were spent with my teacher, Dorota-who is an amazing person and teacher, learning Polish. My situation with learning a new language is very unique. For I am fully deaf in one ear, and hard of hearing in my other. All of the languages I have tried to learn have proven to be especially challenging due to my lack of hearing, if at all possible.
Dorota however, was exceptionally welcoming to me and excited to help me learn a new language. It was no easy task for her, or I, yet she was patient everyday. Months after my summer spent in Poland, I still remain impressed at the remarkable job Dorota did teaching me Polish. Every class was full of learning and she answered all of my questions. I cannot tell you how many times my wonderful teacher had to repeat sounds and words for me until I understood exactly how I was supposed to say it. For how am I supposed to learn a language when I cannot hear? I do not know how, but I did it!
With that being said, I would recommend "Teach me Polish" to anyone currently in Poznań who wishes to learn. You will be amazed at how fast you can pick up the language when you study here! I can still hold a conversation in Polish months later...and, I cannot wait to return to my learning here at "Teach me Polish."

Dorota's classes are fun, and she knows exactly how to meet you at a point just above your level, giving you the perfect amount of challenge so you're always learning and growing. She breaks down this difficult language into easy to manage pieces, and presents them with such a magic and skill that you can't help but have an "aha" moment in every lesson. Learning with Dorota is an absolute pleasure, and one that anyone eager to learn Polish should be sure not to miss!

Dorota is a nice & friendly person and a great teacher. Her lessons have an informal and interactive atmosphere, for example you play language games and practice dialogs with other students (which is a great way to learn from each other and to get to know new people as well). Dorota will notice when a particular topic needs some extra attention and there is always place for personal attention. While enjoying a cup of coffee (kawa) i learned a lot about the Polish language and also made new friends. If you are planning to learn the Polish language, then look no further!

After arriving in Poznan in November 2012 and not speaking a word of Polish I set about looking for a Polish language school, I didn't want to be in a big class room with 20 to 30 pupils, neither individual classes.
With Teach Me Polish I found exactly what I was looking for, a small group of all ages and nationalities, with the possibility to have some catch up lessons when needed. Our Teacher Dorota is very understanding and is always willing to take time and go over the points where we have difficulties, the ambiance is good humored and joyful which helps a lot when you start a new language in a new country. If you are looking for a human approach to learning Polish then I highly recommend Teach Me Polish.

Dorota is a very natural and efficient teacher, and it was a real pleasure going to class twice a week, knowing that we would be gently pushed and that we would also learn a lot.
I would very warmly recommend Dorota to any student eager to learn, as she definitely is not only a very professional teacher but also a very nice person.

The lessons at 'Teach me Polish' were a great pleasure for me and I was able to have short conversations in Polish only few months after joining the beginner class. Dorota is an excellent teacher, very enthusiastic and energetic, and the most important, she managed to motivate me to learn the language and enjoy using it.
We learned as we played because the lessons are dynamic and Dorota comes well prepared for each of them, having clear what she wants to achieve but also very flexible to introduce new things which are of interest to students. I would recommend the lessons to any foreigner who would like to interact more with Polsih people and overpass the language barrier. A big thanks to Dorota for all her dedication!

I think Teach me Polish is a very good place to learn Polish. Teachers are very attentive, friendly and really interested in teaching. Besides they pay a lot of attention to the things that students would like to learn apart from standard book schedule. Special thanks to Dorota for organizing informal meetings devoted to Polish holidays and simply friendly chatting! I would definetely recommend the school for the beginners and those who want to get deeper into Polish!
